Hello all, thank you for visiting this photoblog. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, this blog will be inactive for a while. That is until I get a new set of camera – hopefully a better one. Thanks again and do check back. Who knows, it might be sooner than you think!

Hello and welcome to Thrifty50!

This blog contains photographs that I took using a Canon 350D camera with Canon EF 50mm 1:1.8 plastic lens – hence the name.

I am not a pro nor I am an amateur – I don’t consider myself a photographer. All I know is that I get pleasure from taking photos of the things I encounter. I am most comfortable taking photos of still objects like old buildings or landscape views. Sometimes I wish that there’s a camera that is attachable to my eye(s).

I am still exploring different styles and techniques. I like my photos the way the things I photographed are like in real life. I don’t enjoy fiddling around with photo-editing softwares (mainly because I simply can’t be bothered to learn how to use ’em). And I try as much as I can  to present the photos they way they are.

The photos presented in this blog hadn’t gone  through any photoshop editing nor manipulations in terms of colour, contrast, curves and the likes. The only editing I would have done to the photos would be cropping, to accommodate the viewing size.

Follow on through and together we’ll find out what I’m good at  🙂

If you wish to use any photo published on this blog, feel free. The only thing I ask of you is to link back to my blog and send me an email: ladysparrow29 (at) gmail dot com.

au revoir!
